{"id":6189,"date":"2023-09-05T15:59:11","date_gmt":"2023-09-05T13:59:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wecap.de\/?post_type=portfolio&#038;p=6189"},"modified":"2023-09-05T15:59:12","modified_gmt":"2023-09-05T13:59:12","slug":"future-affairs-2020","status":"publish","type":"portfolio","link":"https:\/\/wecap.de\/de\/portfolio\/future-affairs-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Future Affairs 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 14 December 2020, Germany\u2019s Federal Foreign Office was hosting the second &#8220;Future Affairs&#8221; conference in Berlin, a joint production with re:publica and with the support of the non-profit think tank Stiftung Neue Verantwortung.\u00a0This year\u2019s international event was focusing on the topic &#8220;Decoupling the Internet \u2013 Taking Sides or Chances?&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the covid-19 pandemic the conference took place as an hybrid event. Most of the speakers were incorporated into the live show via a remote guest solution. For the moderation a small studio was set up on site of the Federal Foreign Office. Germany\u2019s Federal Foreign Minister Heiko Maas was opening the one-day conference in Berlin.
