For the sixth time the Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration IZM hosted the world’s largest conference on the subject of the environment in electronics. Due to the covid-19 pandemic the conference took place as an hybrid event. Most of the speakers were incorporated into the live show via a remote guest solution. For the moderation a small studio was set up on site the Fraunhofer IZM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The keynote speakers of the event were Sarah Chandler, Apple\u2019s senior director of Operations Product Development and Environmental Initiatives, and Eelco Smit, Senior Director Sustainability at Philips. Martin Schneider-Ramelow, as the conference chair, and Nils F. Nissen, as the technical chair, hosted and moderated the event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
