The Alexianer Ethics Symposium 2026 took place on 21 May 2026 at Hotel Aquino of the Katholische Akademie in Berlin. The symposium was held under the theme “Do Not Be Afraid – Or Should We? Understanding Fear, Finding Support.”
The symposium is aimed at healthcare professionals, physicians, nurses, colleagues working in pastoral care, psychiatry, and social work, as well as all interested members of the public. Its purpose is to inform, raise awareness, and encourage dialogue through an open, interdisciplinary, and values-based approach.
Among the speakers were Dr. Gregor Gysi, Prof. Dr. Heribert Prantl, and Prof. Dr. Bärbel Frischmann.
