In the context of the hybrid event „Rohstoffe für Zukunftstechnologien 2021“ on July, 1st, 2021 the results of the DERA (Deutsche Rohstoffagentur) contract study by the same name were presented. The third edition of the study was processed by the Fraunhofer-Institut für System- und Innovationsforschung ISI and the Fraunhofer-Institut für Zuverlässigkeit und Mikrointegration IZ. It identifies the raw material requirement for 33 technologies of the future for the year 2040. The speakers in the studio were: Dr. Peer Hoth (BMWi), Dr. Volker Steinbach (BGR), Dr. Marko Gernuks (Volkswagen AG), Dr. Peter Buchholz (DERA), Constanze Veeh (EU Kommission), Dr. Frank Marscheider-Weidemann (Fraunhofer ISI) und Franziska Maisel (Fraunhofer IZM). The event was moderated by Conny Czymoch.
